Oh man I'm so excited, I'm off to see Thor 2 tonight. I can't wait, I'm sure you guys are aware I LOVE everything Marvel. I know it's a different mythology but it falls sort of in line with the Greek Gods from the No Olimpo collection right?

Like Poseidon, this polish has a metallic element to it. I really like it in this I think it totally works with the gold. This was 2 coats.

So exciting news, yesterday my coach and dear friend delivered her baby girl Arynn Dawn (her middle name is in honor of my Dad which is probably one of the most special things ever) and she is beautiful. I'm so lucky to be an honorary aunt to all her kids.

In honour of the baby girl showing you this gorgeous pink just seemed right.
This one was hard to get my hands on it seemed to ALWAYS be out of stock, of course now that I've said that I'm sure it won't be hard to find.

I hope you all are having a good remembrance day. I'm trying to start my christmas shopping, or at least my Christmas list making. I wanted to order a new iPhone this week but maybe I'll hold off on that and do my Christmas shopping. Ugh I can't decide. Christmas shopping probably should happen before self indulgence right? I have another pretty holo for you today. This is another one of the reformulated polishes. This one has a metallic brush stroke thing going on. I'm not sure how I feel about the metallic touch to this one. I'm pretty sure I like it. This is two coats.

So yesterday I attended my friend Kim's wedding. It was a blast, the best part of the night may have been the bizarre competition between Jill and Brendan involving a wine bottle and a cork. You kinda had to be there but it provided endless hours of entertainment.

I really can't get over amazing holos. This is one that was a lemming for a while. Actually for the most part all the HITS No Olimpo polishes are/were lemmings of mine. I have a handful of them for you this week.

Hey guys,

So I'm ending this week of Hits holos with a bang. I really love purple polishes, which is evidenced by my massive collection of purples. This one reminded me a lot of the intensity of Apolo which is probably why I love it so much, there's something about this dark colours with a really intense holo that I just die over.

Hits really needs to re-release their holos asap so I can do my best to grab the rest of them, I need Atena & Ares!

So tomorrow I'm riding in this Big Bike Race thing for the Heart & Stroke foundation again, I don't know why they call it a race because you're not racing anyone, it's pretty much just 20 people on one bike riding around downtown. I also have a tattoo consultation tomorrow (shhh. it's a secret). I'll let you know how that goes.

This was more sheer so this is three coats over Aqua base. I actually liked this a lot more than I expected since oranges aren't my favourite.

More holo-y goodness for you today. I was reading on an update from Llarowe that Hits is reformulating their polishes so Llarowe won't be getting any more stock of these until the new ones are released. All I can hope for is that they won't make any changes to the names or the colours. (Is that being selfish?) but I really want the chance to grab the rest of these.

I was pretty excited for this teal holo. This is two coats over Aqua Base. I expected the colour on this to be a bit deeper (more like Apolo) I wouldn't say I was disappointed but although this is really pretty it wasn't really what I expected. If teal's are your thing this is a good one to have in your Helmer.

So this low buy is killing me. I've been trying really hard not to just go nuts. Last Friday I was playing around on the ipad and of course I found myself on NPC and I had added 12 China Glaze polishes to my cart.... TWELVE! Seriously. Who does that? I managed to stop myself by chanting a mantra of "Vet Bills, Black Milk Leggings, Tattoos," over and over again, with a "I am the blood of the Dragon," for good measure. Geez, when did my polish addiction get so bad that suddenly dropping $100 on polish is nothing. 

For this week's edition of "On Wednesday's We Wear Pink!" I have another Hits holo for you guys today, this is Afrodite, as in Aphrodite the goddess of love & beauty. Now when I think of Aphrodite I always imagine her as this yeah I watched a lot of Hercules and Xena growing up. 

This pink was a little on the sheer side so this is three coats. I used Nfu Oh's aqua base for this, as I do with all my linear holos. This shade of pink wasn't too excited with my skin tone so next time I might layer this over black to see what happens.

So I have a treat for you guys today. This may be my favourite Hits holo that I've come across so far. If I was the type of person to wear the same colour all week this would be a top contender. I could not stop staring at my nails all day. Talk about a distraction.

This is two coats of Apolo over Nfu Oh's aqua base then topped 'er off with one coat of Poshe.
I think if I had to choose ONE Hits Holo to buy this would be the one hands down, it's just such a gorgeous blue and the holo in this is fabulous.

So today we're going to start almost a full week of Hits No Olimpo Holos! I've been lusting after these for a long time now and finally bit the bullet and ordered what I could get my hands on. Needless to say they didn't disappoint. Today I have the first one for you.
