Joe Fresh - Peacock

Hey guys,

So a while back someone told me how awesome Joe Fresh polishes are I went and checked them out and honestly didn't see anything that rocked my socks off. However a couple months ago I was at a bridal shower and won this one.

At first I was like oh it's nice, then I wore it and was like WOAH. For some reason to me this looks fairly "meh" in the bottle but I love the way this looks on the nail.
This blackened turquoise is two coats.

Formula X - Surreal

Hey guys,

So I have had a rough weekend, Friday I got dumped like yesterday's leftovers (I'm still trying not to be angry or bitter about this) but as a result of that I'm likely to have a lot more free time. So odds are normal posting may resume. Anyways love stinks. heck Who knows maybe I'll do some corresponding nails to mirror my feelings. Anything is possible.

Today I have another Formula X polish to show you, this is one of the holos, and it was on sale for like $6 or something. It's not the strongest holo I own and I have others similar to this. It was nice. And was holo-y. I don't know if this is a collection must own though.

Formula X - Marine

Hey guys,

So about a month ago now I had dragged the boyfriend into Sephora during a trip to the mall (I had wanted to go to the Lego store too) and while there I took a moment to browse the Formula X polishes which to be completely honest had never really tickled my fancy, they just seemed like a lot of what I already had. And after the debacle with the Sephora X Ariel polishes  - Also wtf Sephora no more Disney sets? How can you just QUIT like that?! - I just always passed them up however I was in a shopping mood. So I picked out three and they came home with me.

MAN IS MY MIND CHANGED. All I can say is that the impromptu polish purchase turned into me hopping on Sephora.com and ordering 10 more Formula X's mostly all on sale though.

I'm going to show you my favourite first. I was SO in love with this color, this was from the Seaglass Collection which is essentially sparkly matte glitters with no texture.

I LALALALALALAALLOVED this one. The application was great and wearing it just made me so happy. I didn't even get mad when it gave me smurf hands to remove.

Morgan Taylor - Party at the Palace

Hey guys

So this week, yes WEEK, I promise a whole week of posts. A few months back Cinderella came out in theatres, well I was literally OBSESSED with it, I saw it three times in one weekend. So when I went home and looked to see if there was a Cinderella polish collection I was not disappointed. So I ordered the whole thing and that is what I have to show you this week

First up is a teal polish with a subtle flake to it. I really loved this one, I've never used Morgan Taylor polishes before but I was pleasantly surprised.
This was three coats.

June Julep Maven Box

Hey guys,

So to be honest I definitely wasn't super stoked on this month's box, lots of Jellies which aren't always my bag, I would rather bright vibrant colours when it comes to months like June, but I don't have a lot of jellies so I figured why not lets grab a couple of those and then throw in a minty colour too for good measure.

Julep - Brandis

Hey guys,

So it was my fourth week of pottery tonight, and I'm sad to say I still suck at it. Those dang potters make it look so easy! clay is a fickle bitch! I will make a mug if it kills me.

Tonight I have a gorgeous teal polish perfect for spring and the nice weather outside! I got this one from my bestie Nicole and I love it, a great Julep creme, this was almost one coat, but I did two for good measure.

Julep - Ryan

Hey guys,

Yay for long weekends! I mean it would be better if I got Monday off too but beggars can't be choosers. Anyways I hope everyone has a happy easter! I flaked and didn't do any easter nails this year. Although I do have baby pink nails right now so maybe that makes up for it?

Today I have a pretty Julep satin polish to show you guys today. This one toes the line between a teal and a denim, and I really love this one. That being said I love polishes with different finished.

January Julep Maven Box

Hey guys,

Today I have my January maven box to show you. This months theme was Chrysalis which means change. There are some changes to the maven program this year, they're going to really start focusing on beauty products as much as polish instead of polish with a side of beauty products. We'll see how this goes.

Julep - Waleska

Hey guys,

So today was my work's annual Wine Draw, another super busy day for me, although that being said all things considered this year ran super smoothly considering there were 283 bottles of wine up for grabs. I don't drink but I still wound up with a bottle of pity wine, no better time than the holidays to have a random bottle of wine on hand.

Today I have another polish from the August Wanderlust collection. Actually this was a colour that my bestie was supposed to get in her box but got two of the same polishes instead. I am so in love with this metallic teal polish. This was two coats.

Mesh Manicure

Hey guys,

So finally things are slowing down for me, I'm done and all the Christmas parties are over so now the biggest things on my plate this week are making sure I mail out a few gifts. So here is hoping I actually remember to do that.

So a while back I saw this manicure and thought it was fantastic. Well of course when I went to go try it I didn't actually go look at the instructions so I did it wrong. You're supposed to sponge on acrylic paint, well I just used polish and that didn't work but I did come up with almost a mesh stamping method. Not perfect and my clean up is awful but I really like the way this came out.
I used Deborah Lippmann - Mermaid Dream's to stamp.

Style Essentials - "Mermaid"

Hey guys,

So this is another polish I got from Nicole, this one came without a name so I have dubbed it "Mermaid" I tried to do some research on this brand but found nothing other than it appears to only show up inbeauty subscription boxes really. If anyone has any other info please let me know!

This is a iridescent glitter topper. The base seemed super sheer so I just layered it over turquoise.

RGB - Tropic

Hey guys,

So I don't know anything quite as frustrating as skin breakouts. Seriously, I had no trouble with my skin growing up aside from the odd pimple here and there. But for the past few years I have had a non-stop battle with my skin, I mean don't get me wrong I by no means have acne or anything bad but from going from having good skin to constantly dealing with pimples is infurating. I even have a big painful one on my neck right now, WHAT THE HECK. So annoying and sorry if that's TMI.

Tonight on the blog I have another polish from Nicole and also a brand I have never tried before. I had heard of RGB but never got my hands on any. Anyways I really loved this dark teal. Application was great, the brush was really nice. This applied nice and evenly in two coats.

Dollish Polish - Seaweed Brain

Hey guys,

Yay it's the weekend! Finally! Tomorrow I am headed to our local Comic Expo with a friend of mine. I'm pretty excited. My plan is to bust out my Star Wars legging and go full on Space Hooker. So me in leggings and boots. Exciting!

Today I have a polish inspired by one of my favourite Book/Movie series. While I know the latest movie left a bit to be desired I still loved it. I'm fairly easy to please movie wise, you seriously have to mess something up for me not to love it. So I am in love with this fantastic full coverage glitter. This almost looks like a foil.

Inspired by Annabeth's endearing nickname for Percy, this stunning shade is densely packed with gold, green, turquoise, & forest green micro flakes and glitters, all in a deep teal/green jelly base.

This is two coats.

Dollish Polish - So Long & Thanks For All The Fish

Hey guys,

So back to our regularly scheduled programming today but oh hey! Guess what I did this morning?? Got a tattoo. Yes I do have a problem. I know I always tell you guys about my tattoos but never show you any pictures! So this time I'm finally going to show you a picture of my latest. I'll attach that at the bottom.

Today we have a polish inspired by a movie that I've only seen once, and slept through half of it since I just had gotten my wisdom teeth out and was fairly drugged up. Probably not the best state of mind to watch a movie like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Inspired by Hitchhiker's glorious opening song, this aqua crelly with blue flash, is chunk-full of different sized & shaped glitters, all ocean inspired.

This was 3 coats.
