HITS - Apolo

Hey guys,

So I have a treat for you guys today. This may be my favourite Hits holo that I've come across so far. If I was the type of person to wear the same colour all week this would be a top contender. I could not stop staring at my nails all day. Talk about a distraction.

This is two coats of Apolo over Nfu Oh's aqua base then topped 'er off with one coat of Poshe.
I think if I had to choose ONE Hits Holo to buy this would be the one hands down, it's just such a gorgeous blue and the holo in this is fabulous.

So today we're going to start almost a full week of Hits No Olimpo Holos! I've been lusting after these for a long time now and finally bit the bullet and ordered what I could get my hands on. Needless to say they didn't disappoint. Today I have the first one for you.

This polish will make Miss Melissa quite happy I believe. A gorgeous black holo, this is two coats over top of Nfu Oh's Aquabase.

Black & Pink Saran Wrap Manicure

So a couple months ago I was just looking for something quick and easy. It had been a while since I had done a saran wrap manicure on myself, which struck me as silly, they're so easy and always turn out so great. I love black and pink together so this seemed to just make sense. I wound up getting a lot of compliments on this too.

So I while ago (like way long ago) I ordered these two polishes from Beyond the Rack. The only problem with that is that you never know what the shipping time is going to be like with them. So like two months later these showed up finally. These are both from the Germany collection.

First up is a pea-soup green. Is it okay to call it pea-soup if I've never actually eaten pea-soup? Although I always think of that scene in the Rescuers Down Under where the grasshoppers make pea-soup.

Anyways this is two coats. This actually reminds me a lot of Avon Absinthe.

My next choice was this nudey-mauve color. I'm fairly certain I have others like this, and while this isn't very exciting on it's own it could be the base for some very fun manicures.

I can't believe it actually took me this long to post these. My initial swatches for the glitters here were crap and needed to be redone. I also just needed a place to put this gorgeous red metallic as well.
I still am 4 polishes away from having a complete A England collection, I always seem to forget when I'm looking for that "extra polish" to complete my NPC order or bump myself over the free shipping line.

Yay more indies!! And on top of that more Enchanted Polish!
This time I have a polish from the Big City Lights collection. These are colour shifting glitter polishes. The actual colour shift in the polishes is similar to the colour shift in their Beatles collection the difference being that these are glitters. Apparently Ozotic makes some similar, I wouldn't know as I don't have any Ozotics.

This one shifts between green, blue, purple & pink. I tried to capture the shift the best I could so you can look at the rest of the pics after the jump. This was one coat over black.

Different Dimension - On Wednesday's We Wear PINK!

So today I have another Different Dimension polish to show you today, I was going to initially post this with the wave of DD's I posted last week but it only seemed right to post this on a Wednesday. I love Mean Girls it is probably one of my favourite movies (okay top 25 at least) I mean okay there's that part in the middle where it slows a bit but other than that I love it. I was watching the interview that Lindsay Lohan just did with David Letterman, and she mentions Mean Girls and I was like "She wasn't in Mean... oh wait right"
