Villains: Emma Frost

Hey guys,

So back when X-men 3 came out I remember going to see it with a group of friends from my Drama class, and we all dressed up, I went as the White Queen... a brunette version of Emma Frost but whatever. Anyways there in lies my personal connection with Miss Frost. 

I wish I had had these nails when I dressed up that would have been awesome.

Villains: Lex Luthor

Hey guys,

So any of you who are comic book fans or just fans of heroes and villains in general know that some of the best villains are just men (sometimes bald men) in business suits. Yup that would get old in the way of manicures so for characters like Mr. Luthor it's a little hard to do something that just screams "villain mastermind" so with this I just figured I would do the Luthorcorp logo.
I am so torn towards Lex, mostly because of the Smallville series, he was just SO good at the beginning. I dunno I always held out hope that even when he was evil he was a little good. Wishful thinking?

Villains: Mystique

Hey guys,

So something super exciting happened yesterday, so my favourite artist Jake Owen was in town with Jason Aldean (whom I also love) but of course me being me who rarely listens to the radio or pays attention to that kind of thing didn't find out until the Friday before. And this concert was mega sold out, like actually totally 100% sold out. Then at around 2:00 yesterday an e-mail goes out at work saying the first person to answer 3 trivia questions correctly, somehow I managed to be the first person to answer (I replied in under a minute) and found myself with two tickets (pretty dang amazing seats too) and it was PHENOMENAL! I'm so glad the stars aligned and I was able to go. So I had an amazing night.

Moving on to our villain today. The amazing Mystique, I think shes super cool and awesome and probably the best X-men villain.

Hey guys,

I'm going to keep this short and sweet since I'm having a busy day and don't have a whole lot of time to spare. I also broke the tip off my pinkie nail today :( So I filed my nails down a bit it's funny how my idea of "shorter nails" still makes people go holy crap look at your amazing nails. I have become one of those people.

So I have spoke of my love for Captain America previously so it seems only right I should include one of his enemies. The fricken creepy Red Skull.

Hey guys,

So first off I want to say that I know I don't often respond to your guys' comments on here but I always read them and they ALWAYS make me smile. Just wanted to throw it out there because I KNOW I suck at commenting on blogs I read. I'm a total hypocrite, I love getting comments but most of the time I'm too lazy to write them. So bad and I'm not proud of it.

Today I have a bad ass villain for you guys, Miss Poison Ivy. I always remember watching the Batman movie with Uma Thurman as PI and thinking she was the COOLEST!

So today we saw our first snow of the year. Granted it was short lived but there was snow on my snap dragons! I don't know why but that makes me laugh. I've been crazy busy at work so maybe I'm just losing it. Which is totally a possibility. This is gonna be short because my brain isn't functioning like it should

Hey guys,

Okay so welcome to VILLAINS month! I have been excited about this for a couple months now. After October I will have a BUTTLOAD of swatches and random polishes I have acquired to show you but until then we have all the evil genius that will inhabit the month of October.

In other exciting news one of my besties became a new Aunt again today, and my coach moved into her new farm with her family so I went and spent the evening with them.

So first off I'm going to preface this with saying that this is not limited to Comic Book Villains and is just going to be bad guys in general.

Tonight we're going to kick this off with one of my favourite evil geniuses. The one and only Loki.
This was actually the first Comic Book mani I did when I started this last month, so if I were to do it again today I probably would have gone about it differently (scratch the lame text fingers)
But anyways he's awesome so alas here you go.
