Villains: Darth Vader (and bonus Storm Trooper!)

Well I hope everyone is having a great holiday Monday, assuming of course you have it off. 

Yesterday my friend and I did a fun little photo shoot at the barn with my boys. Okay it wasn't exactly fun, I spent the whole time wrestling with Breezer who refused to cooperate yet managed to look adorable in ALL his pictures. 

I love Darth Vader. I mostly think he's just really misunderstood and at key times in his life people didn't know how to handle him and it just pushed him off the edge.

Villains: Harley Quinn

Hey guys,

So it seems to me there are some pretty common Villain colours... Black, Red & Purple. Funny cause those are my four favourite colours. Do we think this is a coincidence? Some would probably say no. My coworker Jaz is pretty much convinced that I actually was born to be a Disney villain or some sort of evil master mind.

Anyways I mostly like how this turned out... Mostly I have to remember the red Orly nail art brush doesn't have the same coverage as the black or the white.

Villains: Carnage

Hey guys,

So I hope you all had a productive day today! It's Thanksgivings Weekend here in Canada so a lot of people are spending time with family, friends. etc. I spent my day getting my pumpkins for this year ready. Last year's pumpkins were considerably more awesome but this years Harry Potter theme are also pretty cool. Ron looks a bit whacked and Hermione looks kinda like a pig but Harry and Voldy turned out not too bad.

Our Villain of the day is the gross and nasty Carnage. Seriously looking at pics of this dude creeps me out. He's just so slimey. Yuck.

Villains: Riddler

Hey guys,

So just thinking of the Riddler makes me imagine Jim Carrey in spandex. Probably not my favourite visual. I still think he played a great Riddler. I find it kind of funny that Batman had both The Joker and The Riddler as nemeses talk about getting super creative with villains. I still maintain Batman does have some of the best villains.

Villains: Magneto

Hey guys,

So aside from Loki this was the first villain manicure I did after the heroes. And I wound up putting my finger in the thumb nail, whoops. That's why it looks so funky. Also I took these pictures with my fancy DSLR camera, so much better right? I really SHOULD start taking all my pics with it. We'll see, no promises. You guys may have to live with crappy point and shoot pics. Depends on how lazy I am.

I figured a magnetic polish would be appropriate for this.

Villains: Sinestro

Hey guys,

So lately I have had some huge issues with my Cinderella hand breaking, particularly my index and middle finger, they are just ridiculously weak. So this weekend I decided to try using a UV polish on it to see if I can get them to grow, almost like I'm using the polish as a splint. Hopefully if I can get the splitty part to grow out I will have less of an issue. I will keep you guys updated on how that's going. Otherwise I may look into a gel overlay. We'll see.

Today's Villain is from The Green Lantern comics, if you've seen the movie but not read the books you'll probably be like wtf isn't Sinestro a good guy? Well he starts off that way but really with a name like Sinestro you had to know that wouldn't last.

Villains: Venom

Hey guys,

So I always remember watching the Spider-man cartoons with my brother when I was younger and Venom ALWAYS creeped me out. ALWAYS. Anyways when I was looking up pictures for reference material for this mani I discovered that - Guess what? he still flippin' creeps me out. He's gross, actually. Okay Carnage is worse but Venom is pretty gross.

That being said I love the way this turned out.
