Hey guys,
I have my maven box to show you guys!
This month I got my usual It Girl box but with 3 add ons. I am really loving the Riviera collection. Maybe because it actually reminds me of the French Riviera which is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Or maybe I just love the great spring colors that remind me that "Hey guess what, It's SPRING" (even though as I type this there is still some snow here) It gives me hope.
Anyways click for more after the jump.
So let's dive in shall we?
Lizanne
sea green shimmer
This was easily one of my favourite polishes in the collection. This was also the polish I was wearing when Julep posted my NOTD to their IG and Facebook page. The same one that caused a stir because I have them pointy werewolf nails. This is a beautiful tealy green shimmer. Fantastic application too. This was 2 coats.
Margaret
Light periwinkle crème
So this is a beautiful blue spring polish. When I swatched it for these pictures I noted the formula was thick. Yet I just put it on again and had no problems with it. So maybe lets chalk the first round up to shotty application by me. I used two coats.
Princess Grace
Rich papaya crème
I love this light tangerine color for spring. And this applied beautifully.
This was two coats
Rae
Pantone® 2014 Color of the Year, a radiant orchid crème
I had to get this as an add on when I saw it. I will fully admit to not jumping on the Emerald green color of the year band wagon last year. Not totally sure why bit anyways this Orchid is perfect. Again nice and smooth application. This was 2 coats.
Tania
Multdimensional mermaid teal glitter
So I really enjoyed this teal glitter. I noticed it built up fairly nicely on my swatch stick because of the shimmery base. This was 4 coats. Also as an added bonus I had no problems getting this one off with the Party's Over removal system.
Harriet
Guava coral crème
Another fantastic orangey coral color. Normally I find oranges to be hit or miss on my skin tone but the ones in this collection are so great. This was 2 smooth coats.
I love all of these. Is that bad?
