September Julep Maven Box

Hey guys,

 Well it's the end of another month and you guys know what that means WEEEEE another Julep box to show you! This month's box was the real first Fall colour box of the year. Honestly after the fun bright colours we've been seeing for a couple months this box disappointed me even though I love dark and vampy colours.

 Almond Nude Lip Crayon
This month's product was a lip crayon, I usually can take or leave the product in favour of polish but I really wanted to try the lip crayon. The crayon I chose was Almond Nude, it's very subtle and feels fantastic on the lip. Plus it smells fantastic.

Mary Lee

Oxblood satin
I had a heck of a time with this one, I got a wonky brush. Of course now that I've said that I should have swapped it out for one of my plie precision brushes. Oh well anyways and this also didn't dry quite as matte as I expected even though I know this is a Satin finish polish. I really like the colour of this and I really wanted to like this, I wish it was just easier to work with.
This was two coats.

Charcoal purple satin
This polish was everything I wanted from Mary Lee, a nice easy to work with satin. I really do like the colour of this too.
This is two coats.

Lilac confetti microglitter 
I grabbed this as an add on this month as I meant to grab it earlier. It's not directly billed as a stardust polish and while it is pretty without a top coat it is SO gorgeous with a top coat.
