June Julep Maven Box

Hey guys,

So to be honest I definitely wasn't super stoked on this month's box, lots of Jellies which aren't always my bag, I would rather bright vibrant colours when it comes to months like June, but I don't have a lot of jellies so I figured why not lets grab a couple of those and then throw in a minty colour too for good measure.

Today I have a polish to show you from a brand I've never heard of before, but according to their website looks to be a pretty well established brand . This was a pretty shimmery berry with nice application.

December Julep Maven Box

Hey guys,

So today we wrap up 2014, wow what a year lots of ups and lots of downs. I'm excited for 2015 hopefully we all have a fantastic year ahead of us all.

So I have the last Julep box of the year. I'm torn on this month's collection I found it to be kind of all over the place and not have a really strong personality. Although it's pretty glitzy and ritzy which is always good for December however I would have loved more rich jewel tones opposed to the more metallic colours, but that's just me.

So for the past couple days I have been auditioning new shows to watch since I finished up a bunch of shows. I tried Rectify, Cracked, and V, among others. While all were okay none were jumping out at me. Well ding ding ding! I think we found a winner! Numb3rs! It's like Criminal Minds but with math!

Today we begin showing you Dollish Polish The Ultimate Fandom Collection Part Deux!
This is the Dexter inspired polish.

Inspired by our favorite serial killer & named after his boat, Slice Of Life is a rich, deep Garnet , loaded with red, magenta, and purple micro glitters and glass flecks.

Ahhh on to the second leg of my week whirlwind vacation, I'm not at the horse show anymore I am now blogging from halfway across Canada, again I'm going to keep this short.

This is a beautiful creme berry. It is super shiny and a bit on the crelly side so it had the potential to be a bit patchy if you aren't careful but this was two coats no topcoat.

Julep - Betty - January Birthstone

Hey guys,

So I know I wanted to post all my old backlog pics but I really wanted to show you guys this before we get too far away from January. I was a bit late to order this so that's why it didn't get posted in January, I just got it yesterday.

Julep has created a Special Edition Birthstone collection. Each month they are releasing a special polish.

First birthstone is Garnet, which comes in the form of Betty. This is a pretty solid coverage microglitter.

Villains: Jafar

Hey guys,

So I've spoke of my love for Disney villains and I think I really want my next tattoo to be a Disney villain piece. Ideally I'd like to include Scar, Hades and Maleficent but we'll see. I've seen some epic pieces online since I've been thinking about this, but first things first I need to finish my leg sleeve. My brain works faster than I can save money for this.

You'll notice I had to use my pinky for his goatee since I ran out of room. Whoops haha. Also if you're wondering what it says on my hand it's "rip Mmmbop" I won't get started on my Hanson obsession because I won't stop.

OPI Skittles

Hey guys,

So we're going to need a bigger boat. Okay I mean helmer. Not that my helmer is FULL, but it's getting to the point of me constantly shuffling polishes around to make everything fit. My OPI is spilling into my CG drawer, my indie drawer is full, my "randoms" drawer is full. Yup. Time for a second. This is so bad. When I got my helmer I was all OMG I have so much room. Well wtf? Do I think polish is like gas and will expand to fit it's container? And I just have to keep buying until it's full? I don't know but long story short is my OCD can't live this way. Looks like a trip to Ikea is in order >.<

Anyways here's just a random fun skittles manicure. I absolutely love the way these polishes fit together. This also reminds me I need to re-swatch Polka.com

April Julep Maven Box

Hey guys,

So I finally have my April Maven box to show you! This month I went for the Bombshell box because I loved the colours and I really wanted the Mighty cuticle oil pen/stick thing.

I loved this month's colours so I was pretty stoked although for some reason I never got the e-mail for the Secret Store (not that I would have bought anything) but seriously WTF Julep?
This month I also added on two more polish.

Sephora by OPI Jasmine Collection

Hey guys,

So yesterday I posted SOPI's Cinderella collection and today I have Jasmine for you! This time around I knew to grab the set from Sephora when I had the chance (and saved myself $20) 

I think when it comes down to it I prefer the colours in this set a little bit. 

I really hope there are more princess collections to come from SOPI because we all know I would die over Aurora & Belle.

Hey guys,

So tomorrow the Sons of Anarchy nails I've been promising will hit the web! So pumped, hopefully you guys are even just a tiny fraction as into it as I am, I feel like there are a handful of you guys who know me well enough now to understand that I tend to obsess over things. All in good fun.

So this polish I found for about half off, poor little OPI looked so sad, all the shimmer had settled to the bottom, a giant orange sale sticker on it. Seriously how could I not save it.
Turns out that once you shook this puppy up you get a very pretty berry coloured shimmer that had a slight jelly finish. Personally I can really see this as a colour to be used along with something else.

So while it's beautiful outside it's a tad too hot in my opinion. So I've spent the day working on and updating my Nail Polish spreadsheet. This makes Chelsea shake her head in disgust but she loves me so she'll get over it eventually.

I'm fairly certain there is a swatch-a-thon in the cards for tonight. 

Anyways this is actually a colour that I have on my toes right now.

OPI Black Cherry Chutney

So I'm going to make this pretty short because I have lots to do today (hopefully)
So it's probably for the best that Crosby decided that 8:30 was the perfect time to wake up, even if I was thoroughly convinced otherwise. No worries, he just new that I had lots to do today apparently.

So exciting news! A couple days ago I ordered some A England polish!! I ordered 4 that I can't wait to get and swatch them for you. I ordered Lancelot, Avalon, Dragon, and Lady of the Lake. NPC just started carrying them so needless to say they were mostly sold out by the time I got around to looking.

Today I have a polish that actually was part of the catalyst for this blog. I haven't swatched it before because I honestly thought I had already. Whoops.

The colour is exactly that of a fresh black cherry.

Hey Ladies,

Hope you're having a great Sunday. So far I've pretty much just been reading, watching TV (Pawn Stars & American Restoration WOOHOO) and cleaning dog hair out of my laptop keyboard with a pair of tweezers haha super productive.

Anyways obviously I can't stay away from my two OPI DS polishes and I can't wait to get my hands on more.  However until further notice my polish buying practices are cut off. However I'm going to make a list of To-Buy polishes and post it on here just so I can keep track of Must-Haves. :)
