Cheeky Monkey - Raunchy Bitch

Hey guys,

Today is the last day of Cheeky Monkey, I saved the polish with my favourite name until last this polish is also the unique one in the bunch with shimmer.

Of course this polish is a really pretty blurple so my camera hates it and refused to photograph it accurately. It's more purple in real life but leans very much to the blue side. Damn blurples. So pretty yet such a pain in the butt.

So today we have our second last Cheeky Monkey, This one was also one of their Seasonal Specials when I ordered so I picked it up, I probably wouldn't have bought this one otherwise but that being said it'll be a perfect base for nail art or other techniques.

The formula on this one was great like all the others, that's one thing Cheeky Monkey really has going for them, although as far as colours go there's nothing too original, but their formulas are wonderful.

Yay more Cheeky Monkey! So you guys know I love red polish! That being said I should probably stop BUYING red polish due to the excessive amount of similar reds I own, but seriously they're all just so amazing! It's like when I roll up to work in my red Escape, with my red jacket and my red travel mug. Yes that does happen. This red certainly doesn't fail.

This polish is a bit on the jelly-ish side. 3 coats for good measure and it's fabulous.

Today we have another fun Cheeky Monkey polish. This one I picked up because it was one of their Seasonal Sale colours so it was $5 off, also the name kills me. This one is billed as a jelly pastel, I can't say that I found it too jelly-like it mostly seemed like a normal creme to me. This was three coats, I had no problems with application.

So first I have some sad news to share, on Friday Morning my Dad passed away after a short but grueling battle with Lung Cancer, my Dad and I were extremely close, but I feel incredibly lucky to have had 24 amazing years with him. There will be rough times ahead but he was always very supportive of my nail polish addiction (even though I don't think he understood it) so here's to you Dad.
And here is one of my favourite pictures of us.

Now on to our regularly scheduled program. I told you guys yesterday that today marked the start of Cheeky Monkey week. I first heard of this Canadian brand from Chantal over at Chantal's Corner and once I checked out their website and saw all their crazy polish names I knew this had to happen. Colour wise none are that original so I just picked some with my favourite names.

Each polish comes with a card attached that has a funny or cheeky saying. The card on this one was my favourite. Formula wise this one applied great in two coats. This one is a really fantastic red.
