Hey guys,

So this puppy has been sitting in my drafts for way too long. This was a polish given to me by my best friend that she had recieved in a subscription box.

To be completely honest I'm not a fan. There isn't anything wrong with the formula or glitter pay off here, it is just the actual glitter topper itself. It reminds me of a child's birthday party. I don't know if "Chic" belongs in the name here. I just don't know where this one falls flat yet there are other rainbow glitters I love. Does this one look cheap? Maybe.

I realize I have been majorly slacking on any sort of Christmas nail art but I brought my polish collection to my bestie's house for when I move in and then I pushed my move back a little so I am limited to the polish I have laying around the house. Second: Bowling is the devil. Seriously I broke 3 nails (cinderella hand thank goodness) within the first 20 minutes. I won't lie it kind of ruined the rest of the game for me. This can't be a problem only I have right?

So today the weather here was dismal. On Saturday it was plus 26! Then today it was 3 degrees and rainy/sleet/snow ALL DAY. All our ponies had their winter blankets on today. Yuck. Seriously, that's being a bit bipolar there Mother Nature.

Today I have another gorgeous Supernatural Lacquer to show you. This may be my one of my favourites that I have to show you this go around. It's a white based glitter which just makes my heart sing! Plus it's jam packed with neon glitter and so many stars! I love it. This was three coats, although 2 would have been fine.

So I hate wasps, seriously I know a lot of people are all "Oh they won't bother you if you don't bother them," I call bullshit. Wasps are assholes! They made my life way more difficult while I was simply trying to change the cabin air filter. Jerks, pretty sure anyone watching me had a good laugh when I slammed the hood of my Escape then fled up the driveway.

Today we wrap up the Ultimate Fandom collection! Well part one anyways, yes there is a Part 2 soon to be released by Dollish Polish. This was initially a bonus shade only available to those who purchased the whole collection then they made it available to everyone due to demand, Although those who ordered the whole collection got it for free. I wasn't sure initially how I felt about this but once I got it on my nails I loved it!

Hey guys,

So I had an insanely productive yet MELLOW day. It was awesome, totally what I needed. I swatched this month's Julep box, finished making the dragon egg I have been working on all week, edited a bunch of pictures, finished staining the two signs I've been working on, baked cupcakes, filmed a video, AND watched a crap load of tv I have been procrastinating on. Oh and I watched a few episodes of Brotherly Love which was easily one of my favourite shows in the 90's, seriously you gotta love the Lawrence brothers. Actually I was so busy I almost forgot to blog. Whoops.

This was a polish from Dollish Polish's Ice Cream Collection. I actually really liked this collection, it was bright and fun and was perfectly fitting of the ice cream theme. I only wound up ordering one from this collection but I chose a yellow crelly full of bright rainbow glitters. Good even application. This was three coats.

So I am super stoked that Spring is finally here, but with spring comes the BUGS. I swear our house is infested with fruit flies and I have NO clue where they care coming from. We don't leave food out, we don't have many house plants. I have turned into a cat who sits chasing fruit flies. So annoying.

This is a polish I have been sitting on for a while. I bought it because I love Mila Kunis and I'm just going to assume that is who it is named after, that being said I was fairly underwhelmed with this. It's just a mainly silver with rainbow glitter - glitter topper. Nothing super special here.

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Saturday! I'm having a blast with Jess, watching movies, painting nails, and eating epic amounts of junk food. Eating crap doesn't count when company is in town right?

So this is another fantastic polish from Spellbound Nails. This looks exactly like confetti cake batter. It is SO chock full of rainbow coloured glitter of different sizes. It's in a cream coloured base which makes it different from anything else I own. This is from the Alice In Wonderland collection and named after the cake Alice eats that made her grow. There are 10 different glitters in here. No fishing or hard to get glitter, here.

Hey guys,

I'm so not ready for this weekend to end. I don't know about you guys. Right now I would like nothing more than to just sit here on the couch and veg out on an extremely unnecessary amount of salt and vinegar chips, except we don't have any. In my ideal world I would have a pantry stocked full of salt and vinegar chips that are never stale.

This is the last Island Girl polish I have to show you, I reswatched this one because the first was epically horrible. This turned out way better. This is a rainbow glitter topper. The glitter wanted to drag off the nail so I had to employ the "dabbing" technique a bit here.
This is 1 1/2 (The half is the area that needed to be dabbed) coats.

March Bestie Twin Nails Challenge: Gradient

Hey guys,

So super exciting news!! My bestest nail polish best friend (that's totally a thing) Melissa from Claw of Cthulhu and I have teamed up to do a March Bestie Twin nails challenge!

We've been wanting to do this for a while, but it took some syncing of schedules, but it's happening!!

So here is how this is going to work. Every Monday we are going to coordinate our manicures. We've chosen 5 different themes, but other than that we have no clue what each other is doing. I'm really excited to see how this goes. Will we be on the same page for any of these or will we be polar opposites? So pumped.

So it is a deep freeze outside. It's currently -33 degrees outside with the windchill. So I'm hibernating with my nail polish. I'm going to push as hard as I can to get all my old pictures out the door this month so you guys can enjoy nothing but lightbox pictures!!!

Hey guys,

So tomorrow marks the end of Movember one of my favourite months when all the awesome/nasty mustaches come out to play, oh man I made that sound super dirty. Sorry, I meant that in a yay raising cancer awareness.

Also tomorrow is my work Christmas party, if it's anything like the past couple years I will likely be a blast. Here's to crazy photobooth pictures!

To mark the wrap of Movember I have a super fun polish to show you guys, there is a mate to this but I'll show you that next week. 

I found these while scouring Storenvy which is a site I really like the set up of. Looking at mustache stuff I came across a brand called Supernatural Lacquer who amongst a bunch of other cool polishes had MUSTACHE polish. So of course I had to order them. 

In the description it talks about the mustache glitters being hard to fish out. Well that's not a lie. It took me forever to get these three out. Of course once I did it was totally worth it! How adorable are these? I pretty much ran around all day saying "Look I have mustaches on my nails!!" You'll need to do a bit of glitter placement with these as I found them not wanting to cooperate and lie flat but my nails are fairly round so if you have flatter nails you may have more luck.

Rainbow Honey - The Frizz

Hey guys,

So let's start this off with some horrible news. Today I lost my thumbnail on my right hand. And when I say lost I mean that in the middle of the night I jammed it into the wall by accident and it broke right at the quick on both sides. There was no saving it. So all day I have been mourning the loss of my fingernail. I have a sad little boy thumb now. It took me all day to figure out how to type without it and it still looks like someone chopped off the end of my finger. I'm devastated. It hurt like a beast too. At least it was my Cinderella hand. 

This was a polish I was fairly determined to hate. I hate it in the bottle. I mean don't get me wrong. I love The magic school bus. In fact I may go watch an episode now. But this polish while totally hitting Ms. frizzle on the head just looked gross in the bottle. Surprisingly enough though. I loved it on!

So just in case you were unaware I was Rainbow Dash for Halloween, and I had a great time being Dashie, and even more impressive was the fact I was actually recognized. In my opinion that is a costume WELL DONE. Anyways this was my accompanying manicure for Halloween. I love it, I think Dashie turned out great!

Rainbow Honey (Fancy) - Confetti

Hey guys,

So rather recently Rainbow Honey has done a couple exclusive sets for sites like Fab and Fancy. While I don't exactly think of this as a bad thing, as a Canadian I am not a fan of the sites they chose. Shipping was insane. Like "it's just not worth it, I need a friend who lives in the states" type insane. That and this particular polish was sold in a 2 bottle pack. 2 of the same polishes... I don't know about you guys but other than like black and white, now a days I pretty much don't need 2 bottles of ANYTHING. 

This beauty was a gift from my nail polish BFF Melissa who is a die hard Rainbow Honey fangirl. She found a friend in the states who basically acted as a polish mule for her, and since this was a double bottle set she gave me one. AND THANK GOODNESS SHE DID.

I love this, I love how it reminds me of the rainbow sprinkle cake batter you can buy. I am such a sucker for white based glitters.
