Different Dimension - Excelsior!

Hey guys,

Yay it's Friday! I don't know about you guys but I have a super busy weekend ahead of me, Forced farm labour tomorrow, and then Corporate Challenge stuff on Sunday. Plus I have been roped into a quasi-blind double date tonight (shoot me please) so I have a feeling this weekend is going to fly by. I know it's a long weekend for all my South of the border neighbors out there. Lucky.

Today I have the last holo from Different Dimension to show you guys, I have wanted this one for a while. Mostly because it reminds me of Silver Linings Playbook. This is a white/grey holo that also has a bit of a pink sheen to it in the light. This is three coats.

So I had a very exciting day, my best friend finally adopted a dog! She is away at work right now so I went over and helped her mom go shopping. He's a 10 month old Lab cross (They said Lab x Akita but as a card carrying owner of an Akita I can officially say there doesn't appear to be a single Akita trait in that dog) named Apollo which is perfect because he is a golden tan colour (seems very appropriate for a dog named after the sun god)

Today I have a polish I actually wore ALL weekend, 4 whole days. I love blue strong holos, and if you have to pick one polish to wear for more than one day it may as well be a gorgeous one! I bought this in the same impulse purchase as Dueling Unicorns. It applied great and wore great too, no smurf fingers!

I hope all the mothers out there had a fantastic mothers day. I spent the morning with my mom and then headed out to the barn to ride my horse for the first time in about 8 months. We both survived, but are both very out of shape.

I have an incredible holo to show you guys today. This was a total impulse purchase on my part. I was trolling etsy when I saw a swatch of this and next thing I knew I had 3 holos from Different Dimension on their way to me. This is the first one of the three. This is a royal purple holo. So today I have another Different Dimension polish to show you today, I was going to initially post this with the wave of DD's I posted last week but it only seemed right to post this on a Wednesday. I love Mean Girls it is probably one of my favourite movies (okay top 25 at least) I mean okay there's that part in the middle where it slows a bit but other than that I love it. I was watching the interview that Lindsay Lohan just did with David Letterman, and she mentions Mean Girls and I was like "She wasn't in Mean... oh wait right"

Hey guys,

So I'm seriously loving these Different Dimension polishes, customer service and shipping on these were fantastic so there is a great chance that I will be ordering from them again.
This polish belongs to their Big Bang Theory series. The base on this one is more jelly-ish than some of the others. This is two coats and there is obvious VNL however I kinda liked it so I left it, another coat would make it less visible. Then there is one coat of SV over top.

Hey guys,

So I have another DD polish for you today, this one is a little bit different from the other ones I bought when I went on my spree, this is the only one that is a glitterbomb instead of being glitter in a crelly base. This one was actually way more shiny than I expected it to be. This polish is part of DD's Pretty Little Liars series, Hanna and Aria are my favourite characters so grabbing Hanna was a no brainer.

So I'm trying to move back to posting one polish per post (this obviously won't be the case 100% of the time) and this should hopefully slow down my polish hoarding. Right now I'm joining in on a "Low-buy" with my NPBFF Melissa in an effort to be able to afford a pair of Black Milk leggings. So there will be less Swatch Spam and more spotlights.

I recently went on an indie buying spree with my tax return money (in retrospect I could have bought my leggings with that money) so you will be seeing a bunch of indies trickling through here in the next little bit. 

One of the brands I picked up was Different Dimension. Now every polish I bought from them I LOVED! You will see them all shortly.

This is part of their Vampire Diaries collection, and while none of the other polishes in this collection really did anything for me I loved this one, I apparently have a big thing for white based glitters right now, or jelly glitter polishes.
