Face - Periwinkle Cream

Hey guys,

Sorry this is a couple days late, time got away from me on Wednesday and I had meant to post on Thursday but I was just having one of those ridiculous emotional days where the silliest things just make you cry. Please tell me I'm not alone in having days like that. They are the worst not to mention they just completely baffle men. Yesterday the BF and I had a conversation like this:
Him: What happened?
Me (crying): Nothing.
Him: You can tell me,
Me: Nothing!
Him: Just tell me.
Me (crying harder): NOTHING IS WRONG! I JUST HAVE A LOT OF EMOTIONS ESCAPING OUT OF MY FACE!

I think he sort of got the hint at that point that he was just supposed to shut up and give me food.
Men, they just don't get it sometimes.

Anyways moving on, today I have a pretty blue creme to show you. This was a present from Nicole, and I would imagine it may have came in a beauty box, but I didn't ask. I've never heard of this brand before but I know it is different than "Face It" a bit of googling revealed this colour as Periwinkle Cream. This was three coats as it went on a bit sheer.

Hey guys,

Okay so I know I had initially said NO MORE BUTTER LONDON POLISHES!
Alright so maybe not just quite like that but after my relative success with Chancer when I saw that NPC had them on sale for account holders I figured why not. They're not a polish I'll pay $18 for but $12 it's a stretch but sure. Plus this one was so sparkly how could I resist.

January Julep Maven Box

Today I have my January maven box to show you. This months theme was Chrysalis which means change. There are some changes to the maven program this year, they're going to really start focusing on beauty products as much as polish instead of polish with a side of beauty products. We'll see how this goes.

Hey guys,

 So this is a brand I have seen several times at Winners, usually in some faux Ciate type packaging. I am always leery of buying brands I've never really heard of. That being said I acquired this one from my bestie Nicole, I'm pretty sure she got it in a subscription box. I tried googling it and really can't find anything about this brand other than a post or two here and there.

This colour is right up my alley and this was a colour the BF chose when I told him to grab a polish off the table for me to wear. I have to say this polish smells really bad. I couldn't find an ingredients list or anything so I have no clue if it is 3 free or not I just tried not to inhale. Otherwise application was nice.

Julep - Geena - January Birthstone

Hey guys,

Today I have the first polish from Julep's 2015 Birthstone collection. I didn't think they would be making another one, but I'm actually not surprised because there are usually alternate birthstones and some people were unhappy with the choices so hopefully this year they'll be able to wrap up the alternates and make everyone happy. This is a pink shimmer with a blue flash, it's quite pretty not something I would likely wear all the time but pretty none-the-less

Hey guys,

Wow so I have really sucked about the whole posting on Mondays and Wednesdays then weekends thing. Of course Mondays and Wednesdays are busy days for me good job Caitlin. Sorry guys please bear with me. Anyways so I've never really been super into make up or products without chemicals, I mean I'm not against it but I've never really cared but I spent some time in Lush today and they do a lot of Vegan products (I'm so not a vegan) and I tried one of their shampoos (totally weird for me to put sea salt in my hair) and I LOVED it. I may be a convert. But still not a hippy

Today I have a bright Julep polish to show you. This is a fluorescent purple, which obviously isn't a super fluorescent color so this is about as bright as it gets. This dried semi-matte and when a top coat was added had a jelly effect. This was three coats.
