Digital Nails - Chillin' Like A Villain

Hey guys,

So about a month ago my NPBFF Melissa let me know that Raphaelle from Digital Nails had a "promotion" I guess you could call it maybe? Where if you donated $35+ to an Alzheimer's fundraiser she was participating in (a good cause) she would make a custom bottle of nail polish for you. So I was IN obviously.

Trying to think of what kind of polish I wanted didn't take too long, my friends have often described me as a Disney villain, and it wasn't long before I started indentifying with the villains instead of the Princesses. So while I still love the Princesses, they get a lot of love, there are several Disney Princess inspired collections out there, but very few inspired by villains. So I was talking to Melissa and she jokingly said "Chillin' Like A Villain" and I was SOLD. So I gave Raph the name and free rein to do WHATEVER she wanted.

Well a couple weeks later this baby arrived. It's a teal/purple duochrome chock full of copper micro glitter and holo glitter. Raph said she had a blast bottling pure evil, and I love it, my camera refused to capture the beauty of pure evil but here it is in it's two coat glory!

Hey guys,

It is SO incredibly hot here today, it was 35 degrees when I got into my car after work. Nope, I pretty much top out at 25 degrees. Good thing our office is like a deep freeze so I am always cold anyways. Until I walk outside then I melt. Nope, just nope.

I have the last surprise mini from Digital Nails to show you guys today, you know I love holos. I LOVE a good blue holo. This is a fantastic cobalt blue holo. The name Stars at Night could NOT be more fitting for this, I keep expecting to see a shooting star fly across my nails.

So today my pooch is doing a lot better, our vet came out and now she has some meds and gets to live on hamburger for a week! She's actually pretty stoked on the boiled hamburger. Way more than I would be if I were her. On another note I just saw a preview for Sharknado 2 and I can't stop laughing but seriously I haven't seen the first one but it blows my mind. That being said who doesn't love Steve from BH 90210?

I have another gorgeous Digital Nails polish today! This was another surprise mini from the wonderful Raph! Now I don't think anyone should miss out on the story behind this polish so pulled from the etsy listing here it is:
I knew I had something special on my hands the moment I mixed this glitter into base. It's gorgeous in the bag but it looks like most other silver holo glitters, rainbow-filled and blinding. Lots of times, the true rainbow effect gets lost in the base. The light just can't reflect on the surface of the glitter like it could, and the effect is dulled. That is not the case with this glitter.
Upon opening the first bottle I mixed and applying it to my nails, I'm pretty sure I said something along the lines of HOLY @#$%.

I couldn't have explained it any better, this is so sparkly and my lightbox was hating on it so much I actually went outside to take pics. ME, the VAMPIRE.

Hey guys,

So welcome back from my vacation, I came home to a very sick puppy. My poor dog has been really sick and I am seriously starting to worry about her. Sorry I know that's depressing. Thank goodness for vet tech friends.

I have the next Digital Nails polish to show you. This was a surprise mini that I found in with my order so I am very excited to show you guys. Growing up I was obsessed with Jem and the Holograms, the video rental store had about 3 Jem videos and I rented them ALL THE TIME, and now I have season 1 on DVD and went as Pizazz for Halloween a few years ago. So I was incredibly excited to see that a Jem inspired polish was in my package. This is a pink, purple & blue micro glitter topcoat and is SO SPARKLY.

Hey guys,

The end of vacation is always MEGA bittersweet. On one hand yay I get to sleep in my own bed tonight (although the bed in Calgary was quite comfy and amazing) but ugh back to work tomorrow. I guess on the bright side though I am headed to Nationals in a couple weeks so I get one more week stretch of vacation. Although sometimes I feel like horse shows don't count as vacations because of the crazy pace.

Today I have my very first Digital Nails polish to show you! This is starting almost a week of Digital Nails! So excited I am so in love with this brand even though this is the first taste of it I have had. SOLD. Starting out we're going to start with a Doctor Who inspired (you guys know how I love my Doctor Who) polish that more specifically was inspired by Rory Williams who is my FAVOURITE companion hands down, I actually have a Rory action figure my friend bought me after my Dad passed away. WHY DIDN'T I USE IT AS A PROP?? Oh well hindsight and all that jazz. I love this. It's Holo. I love holo, and it's black. I love black.
So to recap:
