Island Girl - Pink Glow In The Dark (and Christmas Lights!)

Hey guys,

Well I hope everyone is having a good Christmas Eve, I've mostly just spent the day cleaning and watching American Dreams, tough life I know.

Today I have a polish I have to rant about for a minute. This is a white glitter glow in the dark topper, so WHY is it called PINK Glow in the Dark that makes ZERO sense, it doesn't glow pink, it glows green, it just makes no sense. That being said the glow was pretty good in this one.

Love & Beauty Glow - Neon Green

Hey guys,

So I've been on a roll with polishes that Nicole has given me, apparently I have had all these swatched but never got around to posting these. I absolutely love glow in the dark polishes around halloween. Of course I can't photograph the glow effect to save my life, so you'll just have to take my word for the fact that YES! it glows! WEEEEEE! Sorry I'm a nerd I know. Anyways so this super sheer so you either have to wear it over top of something or use at least 4 coats to get it semi-opaque.

Cirque - Kabocha

Hey guys,

So sad news, well not really sad but I went to Superstore yesterday on the suggestion that the NOPI Selena polishes may be hiding out there. No dice that being said I now know what a nail bar is. The hunt continues. I will find them. It's become an obsession.

So here's a polish I meant to post way back in October but well it clearly fell to the wayside.

This is
Cirque - Kabocha

It's glow in the dark too except I found the glow to be a bit weak so all pictures I took didn't turn out so you'll just have to take my word for it. This is a bit sheer so it takes about 3 coats to get it mostly opaque. Could be fun for layer though. We can add that to my to do list.

8 Days of Halloween - Day 4 - Glowing Skulls

Hey guys,

So today was a super busy halloween filled day for myself.
I had to run around to at least 3 different halloween stores looking for stuff. Did I find what I was looking for? No, but all is good have no fear.
I got decorations for the house, and pumpkins that I'm still in the process of decorating. Pictures to come once they are complete.
Now I really know better than to try to be scrounging up parts for my costume so close to Halloween but it's all in the name of trying something a bit different.

Okay so what I have for you today I LOVED wearing
This is my skull manicure. What I loved about this was that in normal light it just looks like a kind of neat skull design. However turn of the lights and BAM!

For this I used
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - Black Out
Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers - Glow
Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen - Black

8 Days of Halloween - Day 3 - Glowing Ghosts

Hey guys,

So day 3 of Halloween manicures! that means only 5 days until Halloween! Hopefully by now everyone has their candy ready and their costumes picked out!

So I wanted to do little ghosts for this manicure. They turned out a tad funky but I still think they're pretty cute. Plus they glow which I love. That except I always freak myself out when I crawl into bed and can't figure out what is moving until my eyes adjust and I realize that its just my nails glowing.

For this I used

8 Days of Halloween - Day 2 - Black/Orange Crackle

Hey guys,

So for today's Halloween mani I have something just a bit more simple but still nice and festive.
I'm so in love with glow in the dark polishes right now and the glow under the crackle looks super cool.
The Cirque polish doesn't glow quite as bright as some of the other glow polishes I have but it's the perfect festive colour.

For this I used

Cirque - Kabocha
China Glaze - Black Mesh
