October Julep Maven Box

Hey guys,

So big post for you guys today! For the first time ever I upgraded my Julep box, for the first time I just had to splurge and get everything. Plus the beauty products this month were totally awesome and ones I will use.

So skip on past the jump for MORE Rebel Set!

I haven't figured out what to do with the candy corn yet, lets be honest it'll probably get thrown out since I don't eat candy.

The first product is the peel off mask. I haven't used it yet but I am quite excited to try it out.

Next is the Kajal eye glider which is a double sided black and brown eye liner. I have used the black side already and it's great. It also came with a sharpener.

So I'm torn on the new packaging for the polishes. The boxes look super classy but are a pain to recycle (okay not that bad I'm just lazy apparently) That being said I really disliked the plastic wrap.

You'll notice I got all 9 polishes and then added on the 2 special add-ons.

On to the polish. Settle in this is gonna be a long one.

Lets Start with Winona
Buff greige crème
Application here was nice and smooth, this was 2 coats.

 Titanium metallic
So I was actually quite surprised by how much I loved this one, it's a truly amazing foil.
This was 2 coats.

 Black latex crème
I am so in love with this polish, I think it is the perfect answer to a waxy black if you've been looking for one. Plus the name Black Latex is so much cooler. This was 2 coats.

 Vampy magenta with teal microglitter
So I wanted to love this, like REALLY wanted to love this, and while I'm not hating it, I'm not entirely sold either, I wish the base was a little more opaque. This was 3 coats.

 Glow-in-the-dark shimmer.
So my camera hated capturing this so my skin looks all diseased... perfect. It also REFUSED to take a picture of the glow, so you'll just have to take my word that this glows. It's not the most glowy in my collection but is quite pretty and perfect for Halloween.
This is one coat over white & black.

 Coal black with multidimensional glitter
I think this is super cool. I just picture this being perfect for a big fancy party.
This is one coat over black.

Army green frost
This green is perfect for the Fall!! It would also be totally perfect for a camouflage manicure.
This was 2 coats.

 Goldenrod microglitter
I was kind of surprised how much I liked this one. Normally yellows hate me but this one wasn't bad.
It applied a bit sheer, this is 3 coats.

 Concrete gray frost
I can sometimes be iffy on frosts but I liked this one. It is also almost an exact match to one of my friend's bridesmaids dresses she had at her wedding. This was 2 coats.

 Teal with iridescent microglitter
I really liked this dark teal, and it applied fantastic. This is 2 coats.

Deep burgundy crème
I love this one, it's such a fantastic blood red. This was 2 coats.
