Bestie Twin Nails Challenge: Animal Print

Hey guys,

So this is the second last week of my team up with Melissa at Claw of Cthulhu. I'm going to miss doing these. I'm sure we will do something again in the future. Maybe we'll mix things up and do it different? Maybe try and create the same manicure? We shall see. Stay tuned for that.

This week was Animal Print! I love animal print, anyone who knows me knows I am OBSESSED with all things zebra print and have done several zebra print manicures. Heck for a while before I started my blog ALL I wore was zebra manicures. I've done tiger print and giraffe print. So I decided to try my hand at something new! Leopard Print! This was inspired by a manicure I saw on IG by @yagala so she gets all the credit for where I got this idea. Her nails are UNREAL.

Extravagant Zebra

So day 1 of my insane crazy week has begun.

Giraffe Manicure

Hey guys,

So for months Jill has been bugging me to do giraffe nails. If Zebras are my thing Giraffes are definitely Jill's for some reason I was always leery of doing giraffe print. I really don't know what my problem was because in my opinion this turned out pretty great.

I did this while I watched Prince of Persia (I just love that movie hence the random mention)

And I'm pretty happy about how it turned out... less happy about the green/blue finger

Glam Zebra Nails

Hey Lovelies,

I am super tired today. I've been baking up a storm ever since I got home from work. I made 48 cupcakes from scratch and now I'm covered in powdered sugar and could just pass out.

But anyways here is one of my favourite manicures to date.

I used OPI Metallic 4 Life as a base then

Orly Nail Art in Crisp white to do the stripes.

Backwards from how I usually do it but I'm super stoked with how it worked out.

Thats it for today. Time to hop in the shower then crawl into bed.

Tiger Nails

Hey guys!

So yesterday I promised you something fun and hopefully March will be full of fun stuff!!!

Sadly today I don't have any fun stories or rants or anything. I've just been really sleepy so I'm going to bang this out then head off to bed.

So every since my Jasmine manicure I've been dying to do Tiger Print nails.

So just like in my Jasmine manicure I used

OPI Atomic Orange

Essie Blanc

Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen In Black.

This turned out kick ass!! I'll definitely rock this again... maybe with non tiger colours??? we'll see

Jasmine Manicure

Before I get to the post I first have to give a shout out to my BFF Nicole. I took some flack today because I hadn't mentioned her in my blog. My response was "Dude, you don't read my blog," her response was something along the lines of "You never told me about it" needless to say I dug a little bit and took a screen shot of me telling her about my blog.

There you go Nicole, you've officially been mentioned.

More Princess nails!!

So I always loved Aladdin growing up, the third movie significantly reminds me of when I broke my arm in grade 3. After I got my cast on Mom took me to McDonalds then went and bought me the VHS. Don't get me wrong the third movie is awful but MEMORIES IS MEMORIES!!

Here are my Jasmine nails. I personally love them.

For this manicure I grabbed. OPI Yodel Me On My Cell

And OPI Atomic Orange.

I also used Essie Blanc and a Sally Hanson Nail Art Pen in Black.

Raja was one of my favourite parts of Aladdin so how could I not include him in my Jasmine nails?

It took me about 4 tries to get the tiger print right but now that I have a method I think it would make a bitchin' manicure on it's own.
