Essie - Stones N' Roses

Hey guys,

Here is another one from Nicole, I have a love hate relationship with Essie, sometimes I love them other times I find them just horribly boring. This isn't normally a color I would reach for as it makes my skin look rather funky but I didn't hate it.

This was two coats.

Ciate - Ivory Queen

Hey guys,

So in an unreal twist of events my blog Facebook page for the blog has reached over 1000 likes. I honestly could have never guessed. It's so awesome.

Tonight I have a Ciate mini to show you guys. This is a peachy-nude polish with a really subtle shimmer I quite liked this one and in real life it almost gave me mannequin hands. Is that still a thing? Nice application.

Zoya - Ginni

Hey guys,

So Halloween is looming! Looks like I won't have any spooky nail looks for you guys this year as I've been so busy lately but there are plenty awesome ones out there already. I finally remembered I need to get my act together and buy some make up so I can practice my look for tomorrow and now that I type this I realize I forgot to buy fake blood. Whoops.

Tonight I have the last Summer Magical Pixie Dust to show you guys, this came with Arlo & Bar, this is more of a peachy pink. And had very much the same application here, big holo glitter and a jelly base. Actually using my usual Julep Party's over removal method I had no problems removing any of these.

Nailtini - Mango Rita

Hey guys,

So I can be in denial all I want, I'm getting sick. Sore throat, runny nose and it feels like my head has been stuffed with cotton balls. Regardless I will keep telling myself I am not getting sick. Actually as soon as I write this I'm going to take a hot bath.

Today I have a polish that came from my best friend Nicole. She received it in a subscription box that you can see here. This is a brand I had heard of but never tried. They actually have a subscription box of their own. I am in love with this polish it's a peach shimmer that has a bunch of subtle holo micro glitters mixed in.
Great application too. This was two coats.

Julep - Karen

Hey guys,

So today I watched "The Normal Heart" the HBO movie about the AIDS outbreak in the 80's holy crap. Talk about a powerful movie, if you can get your hands on it, I recommend it. Amazing performances from everyone involved. I mean don't get me wrong it is heavy, but a really good watch. Truly heartbreaking.

I've made it known I'm really not a huge fan of peach polish, while pretty peach just screams "90's wedding" to me, or like a "mom" polish. I guess peach has it's place though. Although while there is nothing technically wrong with this peach frost, it just doesn't excite me. This is two coats.

Julep - Dakota

Hey guys,

Dang! Another day that got skipped! Sorry guys. I had a hot date with my friend Cindy and once again the night got away from me. I figure I pretty much post every day so a couple days missed here and there could be a heck of a lot worse.

This is a bronzey peach frost. I'm actually surprised. This doesn't make my skintone look like I have a disease.

Julep Cupid Mystery Box

Hey guys,

So in another moment of weakness in my failure of a No-Buy February I ordered one of their Cupid Mystery boxes, for $20 and a chance to potentially win $1000 visa card figured it was worth a gamble plus I love mystery packages. So unfortunately my box did not come with a pimped out visa card but it did come with a bunch of pretties
