A England - Dorian Gray

Hey guys,

So this was the one Gothic Beauty that while gorgeous I don't feel like it really fit in with the rest of the collection.

Dorian Gray is a fantastic gunmetal grey. I think maybe a silver shimmer in a black base would have fit into this collection better than this polish. That being said I really do love this.
Unfortunately our week with A England and her Gothic Beauties & Friends has now come to an end.

A England - Jane Eyre

Hey guys,

We're nearing the end of our A England week, (tomorrow is the last Gothic Beauty) Yes you can make a sad face. I sure am.
I think I'm going to have to swatch all these again and matte them all. In hindsight that would have been a great idea while I was swatching these but the thought didn't occur to me until afterwards.
This is the burgundy/red of the collection.

A England - Tess D'Urbervilles

Hey guys,

So even though I'm not showing you this until now, this was actually the first Gothic Beauty that I swatched and wore. Like the rest I loved it. This is the green of the group. I can see a Christmas manicure in the future using this and Jane Eyre (coming tomorrow)

Seriously Adina can you please make a polish I don't wind up loving?
My wallet will love you for it.

A England - Lady of Shalott

Hey guys,

So after yesterday's longish post today's will be much shorter.
I have the next Gothic Beauty for you. This was one of my favourites.
Lady of Shalott.
Now having said that. My camera again hated this. Nothing wanted to be in focus (I warned you about this)
That being said even with it out of focus you can see the blue shimmer buried in the black base.

A England - Ophelia

Hey guys,

So I had a bit of a rocky road with Ophelia.
I was cursed with a bottle with a funky brush
Okay yes, as far as funky brushes go I've certainly seen worse. (My Essie Cocktail Bling brush is by far the worst)

But it did make application a pain in the butt, it was all lumpy and goopy and not precise and beautiful like the rest of the A Englands.
So I did what most people do when they've been cursed with a #firstworldproblem (yes I just hash tagged my blog) I took to twitter. And within a day the lovely Adina of A England had tweeting me back telling me to drop her a line with my address and she'd send me a new brush. MY NEW BRUSH IS IN THE MAIL.
No but seriously. This is the beauty of indie brands, customer service. I hardly see Essie sending me a replacement brush for my crappy Cocktail Bling.

Wow sorry that transformed into a bit of a half-rant

Anyways so while shotty application, Ophelia is still a beauty.

A England - Bridal Veil

Hey guys,

So this is the second A England polish I have to roll out to you guys.
We're not getting into the Gothic Beauties yet but this one does fit in with the rest of them.
I've been admiring this beauty for a long time now, and also dying to get my hands on a black holo.

Getting this polish was a long time coming.

A England - Beauty Never Fails

Hey guys,

So It seemed like I waited forever for my new A Englands to arrive but finally they came. Then I swatched and wore, and fell in love, over and over again.

The first one I have to show you is Beauty Never Fails. My camera, unlike me seemed to hate all my new polishes because it refused to do any of them justice. So please bare with the not so great pictures.
Application was great and I even got compliments from strangers which is always fantastic.
This is a olive green/gold shimmer in a black base.
