Mesh Manicure

Hey guys,

So finally things are slowing down for me, I'm done and all the Christmas parties are over so now the biggest things on my plate this week are making sure I mail out a few gifts. So here is hoping I actually remember to do that.

So a while back I saw this manicure and thought it was fantastic. Well of course when I went to go try it I didn't actually go look at the instructions so I did it wrong. You're supposed to sponge on acrylic paint, well I just used polish and that didn't work but I did come up with almost a mesh stamping method. Not perfect and my clean up is awful but I really like the way this came out.
I used Deborah Lippmann - Mermaid Dream's to stamp.

Hey guys,

So tonight I finished all my Christmas shopping! I'm fairly stoked about that. Now just to wrap. Bleh I hate wrapping. I always have great intentions then slowly it just devolves into everything looking like a five year old wrapped it.
Oh also for those wondering my birthday is on the 25th.

Today I have the second polish from the Reindeer Games set, this is s red cranberry glitter topper. I quite like this one. This is one coat over the other polish Nic.

Hey guys,

So Christmas lights are up, tree is up, stockings are up. Almost all the gifts are bought. Yet still so much to do. My birthday is almost here!

This is a polish that came as part of one of Julep's Christmas sets. It was this and a red glitter I will show you later this week, in a set named Reindeer Games. This is a deep burgundy wine colour that has a jelly quality I love these types of vampy polishes. This was two coats.

So exciting news! My cousin and I booked our Walt Disney World trip for February. EEEP! So excited. Valentines day needs to come NOW. Yeah aren't we fantastic girlfriends, high tailing it out of town on V-Day to go hang out with a giant mouse. I can't wait.

Today I have a really pretty jelly glitter to show you. I am a HUGE fan of how pretty this blackened emerald green polish is, the glitter in this looked great. This was two coats.

Hey guys,

So lately I have been trying not to paint my nails every single day in an effort to save time and money. Also I moved my polish collection over to my best friend's house that I am eventually supposed to be moving out into, so I don't have my whole collection on me either limiting my nail art opportunities.
Anyways it's been super weird having the same polish on for a couple days.

Today I have a green micro glitter topper to show you guys. This one came in a mystery add on, which usually are just all duplicates for me, but I didn't have this one. I paired it with a light spring green.
I loved how pretty and sparkly this was. This was one coat over green.

Hey guys

Yay it's December!! That means it's almost my birthday! Wooo! It also means decorations, and cheesy Christmas movies. Which is happiness! I've been so busy and swamped but totally in a good way.

Tonight I have a very pretty purple polish, this is full of silver shimmer. I wore this to my friend's wedding and it was perfect with my purple dress.

November Julep Maven Box

Hey guys,

 

So remember how last month I talked about how long it took for my box to get to me. Well this month was the exact opposite, I usually get my Julep boxes about mid month but this month my box arrived within days of me getting the shipping confirmation. All in all I was super impressed! If Julep is turning over a new leaf with their shipping department then I know a LOT of people will be happy.

 

I loved this month's box such great colours.
