Girl On Fire Manicure

Hey guys,

So today I was having the absolute worst day. All day I was almost crying at the drop of a hat. Pretty much perma-welled up. Totally not fun and extremely draining (plus who wants to hang around a basket-case all day? poor Tracy)

However by the time I had gotten home my mood had mostly (emphasis on mostly) stabilized. I came home to find a package from Nail Polish Canada.

Okay these shipped YESTERDAY!!!

Exactly what I needed to brighten my day.

So tonight obviously I couldn't wait to put them to the test.

I considered swatching them all but started to rage when I was removing yesterday's manicure soooo i thought it best that I don't bother.

Glam Zebra Nails

Hey Lovelies,

I am super tired today. I've been baking up a storm ever since I got home from work. I made 48 cupcakes from scratch and now I'm covered in powdered sugar and could just pass out.

But anyways here is one of my favourite manicures to date.

"Glam Zebra"

I used OPI Metallic 4 Life as a base then

Orly Nail Art in Crisp white to do the stripes.

Backwards from how I usually do it but I'm super stoked with how it worked out.

Thats it for today. Time to hop in the shower then crawl into bed.

Sephora by OPI - I'm With Brad

Okay so before I get to the nails I'm going to get a bit off topic for a second but like I've said before its my blog and I do what I want.

So for the past 5 months I've been using this mascara that I absolutely hate. I honestly don't think I have ever used a mascara I dislike more.

The offending mascara is Rimmel Volume Accelerator.

Now okay maybe I got a faulty tube (doubt it but you ever know) But while the picture above shows a full and round brush mine was flat on one side and it drove me nuts. It gave me spider lashes like crazy. I couldn't bring myself to throw it out without giving it a decent chance though so I suffered through 5 months and FINALLY yesterday I treated myself to some Tarte Lights! Camera! Lashes! and chucked this SHIT!

Sorry rant over.

On to the nails.

But I love Angelina and I think this polish reminds me of her a lot.
