Hey guys,

So I know I wanted to post all my old backlog pics but I really wanted to show you guys this before we get too far away from January. I was a bit late to order this so that's why it didn't get posted in January, I just got it yesterday.

Julep has created a Special Edition Birthstone collection. Each month they are releasing a special polish.

First birthstone is Garnet, which comes in the form of Betty. This is a pretty solid coverage microglitter.

So first off I want to wish my Dad a Happy Birthday. Just because you're in heaven this year doesn't mean I'm not celebrating with you.

Aside from Pure I didn't wind up picking up any other of OPI's Christmas polishes this year, until of course I saw this baby at Winners. It is a GORGEOUS dark burgundy polish with a deep wine shimmer. Legit so pretty and not something you see a whole lot of usually. It's a perfect winter colour. This was two coats

Winter Olympics 2014 Manicure

Hey guys,

Okay so I promise not to jabber on about the Olympics for the next couple weeks. That'll get old quick, but please bear through at least one more post with me.

I am dreading going back to work tomorrow, that means I will actually have to try to sleep tonight instead of trying to stay awake to watch stuff and setting alarms. I fell asleep to the soothing sounds of men's downhill skiing last night.

Today you guys will get a taste of LIGHTBOX pictures. Now keep in mind I am still seriously trying to figure this out and work out the kinks. I'm not sure if I'm 100% happy with all the settings and I probably need some sort of mini tripod cause apparently I have really shaky hands or something?

I wanted to do another Olympic Manicure for the Winter Olympics which I LOVE. So this time around I wanted to do something a bit different.

So in all honesty, how is a person supposed to tell if they are too into the Olympics?? I actually set an alarm last night so I could wake up and watch the Slopestyle finals. Then I totally teared up like a crazy person watching the flowers ceremony for Ladies Moguls. Yeah and this was Day 1. I see myself not sleeping very well for the next couple weeks. Curse you, time difference.

Okay so this was the first fancy Julep polish with a silver cap I've ever gotten, I'm not 100% sure what the Silver caps mean but it is super fancy. It is described as a white gold polish.
