December Julep Maven Box

Hey guys,

So today we wrap up 2014, wow what a year lots of ups and lots of downs. I'm excited for 2015 hopefully we all have a fantastic year ahead of us all.

So I have the last Julep box of the year. I'm torn on this month's collection I found it to be kind of all over the place and not have a really strong personality. Although it's pretty glitzy and ritzy which is always good for December however I would have loved more rich jewel tones opposed to the more metallic colours, but that's just me.

Okay so yesterday I announced that since I had finished up Julep's Birthstone collection I would be showing you guys Lacquer Lust's birthstone collection. Well today I logged into Julep's secret store just to find out that it appears that there is going to be another round of Julep Birthstone Polishes. Well looks like 2015 will be the year of the Birthstones for you guys.

Today I have a polish from A England's new collection. I want to apologize up front for my awful cuticles here. I have since drenched them in cuticle oil. That being said I love this fiery red polish. Great application from A England as always. This is two coats

Hey guys,

Well I hope everyone had a phenomenal Christmas! With everything said and done I would say I did. Now I'm in for a much needed week off. And now that Christmas is over I can focus on my next big thing: My Disney World trip in February! EEEP!

Today I have the LAST birthstone polish for you. Well from Julep anyways. In 2015 I will be showing you Lacquer Lust's Birthstone Collection! More on that next month though.
So obviously since it is my birthstone this one is close to my heart. I'm usually not a big fan of shard glitter since it can be a massive pain in the butt, but this wasn't bad, although I think it could have done without the shard glitter. This was three coats.

So a few things first. Merry Christmas to everyone. Or whatever else you're celebrating. I realize I have been majorly slacking on any sort of Christmas nail art but I brought my polish collection to my bestie's house for when I move in and then I pushed my move back a little so I am limited to the polish I have laying around the house. So I apologize
Second: Bowling is the devil. Seriously I broke 3 nails (cinderella hand thank goodness) within the first 20 minutes. I won't lie it kind of ruined the rest of the game for me. This can't be a problem only I have right?

Well Christmas is looming near, I am sufficiently excited and now that I am done all my shopping and wrapping I have finally had some time to breathe and enjoy the season. I hope everyone else has gotten to that point? Or are you guys more "wait to the last minute" people?

Hey guys,

So today was my work's annual Wine Draw, another super busy day for me, although that being said all things considered this year ran super smoothly considering there were 283 bottles of wine up for grabs. I don't drink but I still wound up with a bottle of pity wine, no better time than the holidays to have a random bottle of wine on hand.

Today I have another polish from the August Wanderlust collection. Actually this was a colour that my bestie was supposed to get in her box but got two of the same polishes instead. I am so in love with this metallic teal polish. This was two coats.

So now that my Christmas parties are over and I'm moving on to trying to get other stuff done I totally am really starting to understand why some people dread Christmas I mean don't get me wrong I am a major fan of Christmas. But trying to take care of everything on your own can be insane. All I can hope is that come Christmas break I will still have some shred of sanity and will return to normal.

Today I have a polish for you from one of Julep's summer collections. I want to say August but don't quote me on that. Anyways it was a super popular collection that I probably should have upgraded.
