Hey guys,

Well I've officially had to chop down my nails because of the crack in my index finger. I just couldn't keep swatching over the patch which I had to redo. That being said it should work out perfectly because this way they can have some time to grow while I'm on vacation and I won't be able to swatch anyways.

Today I have the Harry Potter polish to show you guys, like the GoT polish this isn't the only Harry Potter inspired polish Dolly has made, the first being Expecto Patronum. Honestly I really liked the idea and the look behind this glitter topper. my problem with this was the INSANE shrinkage I had with this. I didn't even use a quick dry top coat because I used a coat of glitter food, I have no clue what part of the equation made this shrink so badly. I literally had a half centimeter of shrinkage from my nail bed when I woke up in the morning. You can already see the shrinkage in the photos beginning.

Inspired by the deathly hallows symbol itself, this glitter topper has silver holographic bars, representing the elder wand, silver triangles,representing the invisibility cloak, and silver doughnut glitters representing the resurrection stone, all floating in a sea of holo goodness!

This is two dabbed coats (I had to do some fishing for the doughnuts) as a glitter topper.

I-I-I-I'm HOOKED ON A FEELIN'! Sorry I had to start with that I just got home from seeing Guardians of the Galaxy and HOLY CRAP. So good, SO GOOD. I will likely be obsessed with this for several weeks, I will be doing my best to get my hands on Funko Pop! Groot figure as well, because Groot is awesome.

I have the next in the Ultimate Fandom collection to show you today, this is the Sherlock inspired polish. I really like Sherlock, although I won't like I wouldn't be upset if they split each episode in half, just saying.

Inspired by Moriarty his infamous "crown break-in scene", this is a stunning maroon/burgundy glass fleck shimmer, loaded with gold flakes & gold glitters.

I love The Lord of The Rings, even though the first time I saw it I may have been terrified. Plus Arwen & Aragorn are probably one of the greatest most epic couples ever.

Inspired by the lovely dress worn by Arwen when she gives her evenstar to Aragorn, this silver-toned Lilac shimmer, with a hot pink flash, has violet micro flakes and periwinkle, lavender, and holographic micro flakes

This was on the sheer side, this is four coats.

Hey guys,

So I just finished baking 72 cupcakes, doing all the dishes, and vacuuming the basement. This is the first time I have sat down in 5 hours. And I'm running on 1 cup of coffee and frosting. In short this may be what dying feels like. Please remind me how I get myself into situations like agreeing to make a crap ton of cupcakes for a work bake sale. I have my tattoo appointment tomorrow so hopefully I can pawn some off on my poor artist.

So I've been waiting for a while to kick this collection off! When Dollish Polish announced they were teaming up with Accio Lacquer to create the Ultimate Fandom collection I immediately knew I was screwed since I needed all of them, and I belong to every single Fandom except one (we'll talk about that when we get there) So lets kick this off the the Game of Thrones inspired polish. This isn't the first GoT polish DP has released, you can search my Dollish Polish archive for Cold Winds are Rising, but this is awesome.

Inspired by Jon Snow and the Nights Watch, this winter white cream is loaded with silver/white micro flakes, blue/green iridescent glitters and black micro glitters.

Hey guys,

So lets chat briefly about the first world problems that come with having long natural nails. Generally speaking people tend to think my nails are fake, to which my response is usually something alone the lines of "if they were fake do you think my right hand would look like this?" and then I point to my poor cinderella hand full of different nail lengths and shapes due to continuous breakage and just general mishaps. Or the other day when I was out for lunch and the waitress was like wow you're so lucky to have nails like that. Now don't get me wrong I love my long nails and I do consider myself lucky to have nails strong enough (on one hand anyways) to grow like this. Granted I can't help but wonder if people followed the same regimen of daily nail strengthener and cuticle oil, if they wouldn't have great success as well. Now if I could only get myself to stop chewing on my polish on my right hand we'd all be set. Thats not even getting into the way you have to adjust the way you do almost everything in every day life so you're taking your nails out of the equation. Well that was long winded, but just stuff I've been rolling around in my brain for a while.

Today I have a red holo to show you! Ahh I love red polishes, it just speaks to my soul. This is a fantastic applying red holo, the holo isn't the strongest. It usually isn't in polishes like this but that doesn't make me love this any less. Sorry for the sub par photos I took these on vacation in my hotel bathroom.

Hell On Wheels Manicure

Hey guys, 

So I was about to post when I noticed a bunch of blogs I follow were celebrating 'International Nail Art Day' well this is the first I've heard of this so who knows if it's a real thing. Anyways I waffled back and forth about what to do, I considered not doing anything because I just cracked a nail on my swatch hand so I'm going to be babying my nails for a couple days to hopefully allow for it to grow out without losing all my length. But that just didn't seem right seeing as I had a good reason to do some nail art.

For the past couple days I have been marathoning through Hell On Wheels on netflix, seriously the hot guy in Crossroads with Britney Spears has grown into one SUPER STONE COLD SILVER FOX! Yowza! Seriously dirty looking, long dark silver haired cowboy is RIGHT up my alley. Anyways tonight is the Season Premiere of season 4 and while I'm not quite there yet, hopefully it won't take long, because yay long weekend!

Digital Nails - Chillin' Like A Villain

Hey guys,

So about a month ago my NPBFF Melissa let me know that Raphaelle from Digital Nails had a "promotion" I guess you could call it maybe? Where if you donated $35+ to an Alzheimer's fundraiser she was participating in (a good cause) she would make a custom bottle of nail polish for you. So I was IN obviously.

Trying to think of what kind of polish I wanted didn't take too long, my friends have often described me as a Disney villain, and it wasn't long before I started indentifying with the villains instead of the Princesses. So while I still love the Princesses, they get a lot of love, there are several Disney Princess inspired collections out there, but very few inspired by villains. So I was talking to Melissa and she jokingly said "Chillin' Like A Villain" and I was SOLD. So I gave Raph the name and free rein to do WHATEVER she wanted.

Well a couple weeks later this baby arrived. It's a teal/purple duochrome chock full of copper micro glitter and holo glitter. Raph said she had a blast bottling pure evil, and I love it, my camera refused to capture the beauty of pure evil but here it is in it's two coat glory!
