Nicole by OPI - Goodbye Shoes

Hey guys

So sorry for the lack of post yesterday I was having an awful night and just couldn't bring myself to type up a really half assed post. Although I have decided starting today things are going to get better, no more mopey crummy days. Here's to good times. I also got my hair cut today! Exciting! I decided I needed to seriously lose some length for summer.

So a couple months back I bought a couple of the NOPI Carrie Underwood polishes, I already posted Carrie'd Away. so this is the other one I picked up. This is a blue-grey creme that is quite mellow and subdued. Nothing too special here, nice formula - 2 coats.

Spellbound Nails - Fuchsia-ristic

Hey guys,

You know those weeks when you are just kind of down in the dumps, then you sort of realize you have the best medicine in the world at your disposal? Yup that happened today, crummy day so I went out to just brush my horse, and let me tell you just listening to him breathe is the greatest sound in the world. Right on par with hearing my puppy snore.

I really do like Spellbound's holos, this is definitely the weakest holo I have from them but I still loved the color in this one. The formula left a lot to be desired. It was very gloopy, That being said if you were super careful you could likely get away with one coat. It took me a couple nails to get the technique down so this is two coats.

Zoya - Payton

Hey guys,

Sorry for the lack of post yesterday my internet was being wonky and I didn't feel like trying to fight with my phone. Nothing too exciting happened today. I booked a long overdue hair appointment for this Friday. I have no clue what I want to do in that regard so I'll let you know how that goes.

This is the darker plum version of Zoya Aurora the sparkle in this is fantastic. I think Zoya needs to do everyone a favour and make WAY more polishes like these. Like how about a pink? or a green? lets just make scatter holos in ALL THE COLOURS!. I love the slight jelly look to this as well.
This applied great. This was two coats.

101 Dalmatians Manicure

Hey guys

So this morning I woke up and decided next on my to-do list of watching ALL THE DISNEY MOVIES was Dumbo, Dumbo was one of 3 movies I was not exactly stoked on watching (Snow White & Pinocchio are the other two on that list) I just remember not being a huge fan of it as a kid. Although I have one vivid memory of waking up on the weekend before my parents when I was quite young (4/5) and putting in the VHS and watching Dumbo, and my mom being super impressed I just decided to not wake anyone up.
Anyways it was WAY cuter than I remember, except for that part where they get drunk and start hallucinating about pink elephants. That part just freaks me out.

Another thing I just wanted to touch on quickly is that even though I am awful about replying to the comments you guys post I LOVE reading them, they always make my day. Don't think just because I am awful at replying that they go ignored! Anytime any of you want to chat with me about nail polish/disney/ANYTHING ELSE please feel free to shoot me an e-mail (addicted-to-lacquer@hotmail.com) or you can kik me (puckzilla23) Just wanted to throw that out there.

This is a manicure I did a month or two back, I don't think I need to go on too much about it. It's fairly self explanatory.

Zoya - Chita

Hey guys,

It's been an intense day of sports for me, first was the second game of the Canadiens and the Bruins, my poor team got their butt whooped in a really great come back from the Bruins. Then the Kentucky Derby in which California Chrome was very impressive.

So today I'm going to show you the green PixieDust from the Fall collection, I figured this one was appropriate because of the horse Chitu that ran in the derby. This was a nice forest green polish, I found this one complemented Sunshine nicely, I'm sure you could make a nice manicure with the two of them. This applied nicely and surprisingly no staining.
This was two coats.

Zoya - Sunshine

Hey guys,

So my cousin and I are in the process (gonna be a long process as our trip is ten months away) of planning a VERY long awaited trip to Disney World, so far all we have really talked about is food and restaurants. In reality though, 10 months ahead what can you really plan other than where to eat??

I have another pretty Zoya PixieDust for you guys today! This was the blue in the Fall collection, I do take a bit of issue with the name. This is like the least Sunshiney color okay maybe other than black. I dunno maybe it's just me but I feel like "Rain" would have been way more appropriate. This actually reminded me of denim. This was 2 coats, and I was kinda surprised I had no staining (remember how the last blue pixiedust turned my nails into smurfs?)

Zoya - Carter

Hey guys,

Okay so if I seem to lose my train of thought it's because I am watching hockey right now, and my team is up by two. Eeeek intense. I love playoff hockey! So like I say, I may randomly get distracted while writing this. And let's be honest it isn't like I'm going to proofread this before I post it. Who has time for that? I'm also going to keep this quick.

This is another of Zoya's Fall PixieDusts. This is a beautiful royal purple. I love the slightly lighter glitter in this. It covered great too. This is two coats.
